If it weren't for the fact that Faith Mission is the only emergency shelter in Elkhart County that cares for men, women and children, this family might not be together today.

Lloyd and his daughter had been living with his dad and stepmother while Lloyd recovered from surgery for a ruptured Achilles tendon. Being out of work for three months was difficult, but then his stepmother threatened to take custody of his daughter away from him.
