Stan and his father not only coowned a company – they got drunk together for 12 years, until Stan’s dad had a heart attack. “When I went to visit him at the hospital, he begged me to stop drinking.” Stan agreed, but struggled to quit.Stan’s addiction took a toll on his body. “I went from 195 pounds to 125 pounds,” Stan remembers. “I couldn’t even ride a bike anymore. I was so weak.”
