A piece of cast-off cardboard can be a homeless person's best friend – or last resort. If you're lucky enough to get a whole box, it can be a home. Or the only suitcase you have for your meager belongings.

Here at Faith Mission, with your help, we replace cardboard with warm beds, serviceable shoes, clothing and a place to shelter from cold winter nights. We also provide hot meals and the means to end homelessness – one person at a time.

"It was either the streets or the Mission." Those where James' choices when he lost his job of 10 years in the RV industry. There were other complications, too.

So he came to Faith Mission where he found a bed and wholesome home-cooked meal and people who cared for him. And once his immediate needs were taken care of, James decided to address other issues, like his drinking, and joined our Training Faithful Men recovery program.

"I really needed a change. I needed to get away from the bottle." To provide long-term, life-changing solutions, this residential program combines job readiness, life skills and recovery support that have God as their source and foundation.
